Ordered the fried dumplings and an order of wings. Both delicious. My favorite of the two had to be the wings. Crunchy and juicy on the inside. Best Korean wings. The service was also excellent. Mostly Korean ladies who work here and the ambiance felt right. Definitely going back for the wings

Best mandoo place in oc i missed the spicy shrimp mandoo in koreatown plaza but they have this here at myungin and it's good :)

Despite what some other reviews say, this place is not a hole in the wall. It's in a small shopping mall and very clean. The food quality is great. It's definitely not a place to have a huge party in. There are about 6 food booths and tables in the center. The service is quick and courteous. My go to here is the spicy shrimp and pork dumplings (nice pieces of cut shrimp and pork - not grounded up) plus Yuk Keh jjang (spice beef soup with glass noodles - you can choose the spice level). They serve the slightly sweet soy sauce pickled sliced radish and jalapeño - it offers a nice cut through the rich pork dumplings. I also usually pick up a bag of their frozen Kimchi dumplings for soup later on. Their king buns - whether the pork, veggie or sweet bean filling versions are a great size, just one can fill you up! TIP: for water refills there is a water dispenser near the door.

Nice ambiance, great service, loved our waitress and my kids loved the food. Everything was good. We were impressed by the giant dumplings (like massive bao buns).

Finally tried this home style Korean / Chinese dumpling and noodles. Great customer services, clean stores, simple menu and many epople opt for take out. Tried their broiled dumplings, fresh, non frozen and tasty. Fried chicken is juicy flavorful and delicious, it goes well with the dumplings actually. Highly recommended.

My go to spot for Korean dumplings is pao jao that's inside the food court at koreatown plaza. I've seen a a few myungin dumpling locations that I wanted to try it out and omg I'm so glad I did! I was afraid that it wasn't going to taste as good as pao jao so I only got one item. I got the Korean style kimchi steamed dumplings and it was.. SO GOOD!! I love the little spicy kick it had to them. I also loved that it had a lot of filling inside and it wasn't all just dumpling wrapper. I would definitely go back and try other items on their menu! I cannot wait!

All the mandu (Korean for dumplings) are always famously freshly made to order at MyungIn Dumplings. There is also a good variety of dumpling choices and the way it is prepared: steamed, pan-fried, or in a soup. I like how generously they pack each dumpling shell with the fillings. If you order mandu with the traditional pork fillings, expect a lot of meat in there. I also like the rather thin shells (and not doughy) which somehow do not fall apart despite being stuffed with the fillings. I highly recommend any of the dishes I have tried, including steamed pork mandu, steamed kimchi mandu, Wang mandu (king-size dumplings), and Tteok mandu guk (rice cake and dumpling soup). The banchan (side dishes) are consistently good and the kimchi is delicious. It has been a while since I ate here and inexplicably did not review this place after I did. The original location in LA's Koreatown is popular for take-out orders. I get the same vibe here even though this Buena Park restaurant has a larger dining section. I noticed, upon my two or three visits here, most of the orders were to go. Apparently, the fried chicken has become a thing since my last visit and is considered very good here.

TLDR: It's pretty good for a hole in a wall restaurant. You come here for the homemade comfort food and the general quiet in the area. A bit pricey for solo eaters but good in a group. Half Soy Garlic friend chicken: Chicken was made fresh and was crispy considering the soy garlic glaze. The sweetness doesn't overpower the chicken, and the garlic taste blends well. The chicken is a respectable size, so this can be split between 2-3 people. Pork and vegetable dumplings: It's homemade and it's good. You won't get strong flavors which isn't a bad thing. They feel light and a person could probably finish the whole plate, no problem. Service and miscellaneous items: Servers are okay. Nothing to complain about. You do get some Korean appetizers to start that are refillable, so that's a bonus. Taste wise. The appetizers are fine. Nothing to call home about.

I've never really been a wang mandoo person but this place makes me one!! Its the bottomless cabbage salad and side dish (the pickled radish and jalapeño banchan) that realllllyy make this so good. 3 of us ordered 2 orders of the original wang mandus and we all only ate 2 each. Its actually a pretty affordable lunch of really good quality and taste! Definitely coming back to try the kimchi one next time.

Yooooo!!! YOU NEED TO TRY THE FRIED CHICKEN! This is probably my favorite fried chicken in all of SoCal. I will throw down with my hands and I don't usually eat with my hands! Something about the perfect batter, perfect crunch, makes the perfect bite! You wouldn't think the fried chicken would be the star here, but my friend, take my word for it! We tried different dumplings and all were good! Included were sides like pickled radish and kimchi which was super spicy! We tend to over order here and end up with leftovers. The leftovers hold up well too. The ladies here are nice and friendly, and efficient when bringing your orders to your table. The restaurant itself isn't too big small but can accommodate large parties if they put tables together. Lots of parties of 2-4 when we dined in. We've done carry out a few times too and the fried chicken stays crispy!
